I have been buying Eagle Eyes for at least ten years now, and I have never found any other sunglasses as great quality as these! Eagle Eyes are very inexpensive for the high quality and performance. I have blue, very nearsighted eyes, and they are more sensitive to sunlight and bright light than darker eyes, so good sunglasses are necessary to me, especially when driving. This style the Extreme, is really not what you would consider "extreme"- they are very classic, timeless looking and would probably flatter most people's faces (male or female). I am a female and they look great on me. But then that is true of almost all the Eagle Eyes styles. I like the Explorer style too- I was wearing those once and a friend described them to me as "cop glasses"- got a chuckle out of that.

The lenses are what make the difference in Eagle Eyes. They do change the colors a little bit, but I don't think that would be a problem. Unless maybe you need to defuse a bomb or something while wearing them, you might not be able to tell the difference between the blue and the green wire!!! Under everyday circumstances, it's no big deal. My dash is almost entirely made up of blue/green lighting, and I have no trouble seeing it day or night. The Eagle Eyes do slightly change the colors you see, but they also increase the clarity and contrast, so you do see a lot better. If you are colorblind this might be a problem for you, but you can always return them if you need to.

And I like how the Eagle Eyes don't just make everything dark, the clarity is really amazing. You can even use them for night driving- I often do for long drives. I don't get headaches from eyestrain at all while wearing Eagle Eyes.

Buy Eagle Eyes, you won't be disappointed. I would recommend a second pair and a hard case too, if one pair breaks or gets lost you will want a spare right away! These glasses are reasonably durable ut I always end up sitting on or losing them. Usually the Eagle Eyes come with a case, but it may depend on the seller you buy them from. I know in the past each pair came with a hard case with the EE logo on it. I bought them before in a 2 pack that contained 1 Extreme and 1 Explorer, and 2 cases- 1 hard clamshell case and 1 soft pouch. If you can find a seller that offers a 2-pack, you can get them about $50 for two pairs and the cases- but those are only in certain styles. Try a google search for that if interested- I got mine from the Dutchguard online catalog last time and they still carry the same package deal.

* Can be used for NIGHT driving.
I suffer from migraine so I hate bright lights. Using this at night
make lights look yellow, but it greatly reduces the eye strain
caused by bright lights from oncoming traffic. My wife tried it
out of curiousity and also noticed the difference.
This is the only reason I did not return this product.

* You see things clearer versus ordinary/polarized sunglasses.
That's why it can be used at night. It does not darken as much
everything you see through it like ordinary sunglasses tend to do.

CONs:
* For daytime use, my cheap shades ([...] bucks) does equal or better.
I compared them on glare from cars' windshields, overcast sky, and
pretty much whatever bright lightsource I came across on a bright
sunny day. I'd pick my cheap shades over it anytime.

* Everything you see through the Eagle Eyes shades is yellowish.
You can get used to it after a while. But why would you subject
yourself to that ?

BOTTOMLINE:
* For DAYTIME use, find something else cheaper.

* If you suffer from MIGRAINE like I have for 20 yrs, you MAY find it
a relief for NIGHT DRIVING. Of course, that's a matter of preference.
